How to Search Google Series

I am really excited about this series on How to Search Google.  Whenever I take teachers through this training in a live event they are always amazed at the number of tools that are available.  Even though a number of tools have now been removed with the closure of Google Labs there are still ways to search Google in a way that filters out the irrelevant results and reduces the random nature in which our students conduct their searches.

If you are looking for a resource that can clearly SHOW you step by step how to search Google then simply see this page.

This post will serve as a table of contents and a way to quickly find the information or tip you are looking for.

As always, if you have any questions please just ask in the comment section and I will make sure that I cover it either as a reply or in a separate post.

  1. The 1 thing you need to know & do before you get started
  2. How to conduct a basic search
  3. How to conduct an advanced search
  4. How to find related search terms
  5. How to narrow your search results using the reading level tool

AND MORE!

For a step by step guide on how to develop a search strategy for your students that will ensure that they are receiving the most relevant results go to http://teacherstraining.com.au/google-search/
