Friday Funny – First world problems

February 17, 2012  1 Comment

I like to use funny video’s as part of my ‘How to Motivate, manage & Engage Your Students‘ seminar.  The following video titled ‘First World Problems’ always proves popular with teachers.

The context that I show this video in is a discussion on how to reward your students in such a way that they don’t learn to value the reward instead of their learning.  Often a student will start off their schooling being very responsive to rewards, but by the time they get to high school it’s like you have to offer to buy them a Ferrari before you can get their attention.

As you watch the video I can guarantee that at least one of your students will come to mind.

The video goes for just under two minutes.  Enjoy!

If the video doesn’t load in your browser you can watch it on YouTube HERE
